"This one is a performer..."
Every family has one.
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit. And when I wasn't playing dress up or pretend warrior in the backyard, I was paying attention to my surroundings and the stories around me. I attended DePaul University with the intention to study Philosophy- a nod to my pursuit of studying and understanding humanity. When I seriously started missing the process and reward of performing, I transferred to Columbia College Chicago, where I graduated (with honors) with a Bachelor’s Degree In Acting.
After feeling stuffed from the buffet of Chicago life, I headed west to sunny Los Angeles. Not wasting any time, I booked an audition for a MTV series, landed the lead role in an indie feature, and worked as a series regular in a fresh new media project. I quickly set the pace for life in LA. Since then, I've found my footing in LA's immersion theater community with The Speakeasy Society's Johnny: The Living and Wild Party which was produced in association with The Broad Stage for a one night only event. As well as immersion theater director, Darren Boussman's The Experience's The Lust Experience, where my knack for reading personalities imprinted on the likes of celebrity guests, prompting my involvement to be the topic of critic's choice. When I'm not immersing, I'm working on the pilot for a series I created and starred in entitled Crude. You can imagine the tone after hearing the title, but the story is centrally rooted in crude endings and authentic beginnings and has the intent to bring humor and humility to the loss of a loved one. Currently, I am dedicating the majority of my free time to my theater productions company, The Halogen Company. The Halogen Company is devoted to intimate and interactive theater and revels in stories that break down the human condition in a more philosophical approach. I recently directed, produced, and had a minor role in our winter production and look forward to displaying stories that really connect the artist and audience to a more personal experience. The company also provides a career coaching option called The Halogen Hard Drive, where artists can fine tune or redefine their own creative hustle. If I haven't shared enough and you want to get to know me even better, I write and produce content for my site Documented Explorations. It’s deeply personal and has the intent to expose stereotype breaking realities about the human experience based off my own. Looking to the future, I am spending my time producing and directing both theatre and film and seeking out acting opportunities that inspire!
